Resumen:

GREMA stands for Radiofrequency, Electromagnetics, Microwaves and Antennas Research Group. GREMA -research focus in several electromagnetic fields, as for example, numerical methods with a wide coverage of techniques going from rigorous methods such as the Finite Element Method (FEM) and Method of Moments (MoM) to asymptotic high frequency techniques, THz technologies focused on filling the so called “THz gap” in order to obtain more emitted power from photomixers and photodiodes and/or increasing the sensibility in the detectors. Additionally, actively matched electrically small antennas (ESAs), chipless RFID and sensors and advanced filters and compact multiplexers are part of the targeted objectives of our group. This contribution summarizes the GREMA's work. Finally, it is important to emphasize the available facilities in GREMA that ease the research in the previous lines. We have facilities for antenna measurement (anechoic chamber and a facility for measuring base station antennas with Telefonica - Starlab), facilities for circuit manufacturing and assembling with a resolution down to 30 μm, computation cluster up to 640 Gb of RAM and 1,5 Tflops running home-made and commercial software and, finally, a THz laboratory able to measure 2-port circuits up to 220 GHz and spectroscopic measurements up to 2 THz.
